Michael Bankowski, Co-Founder, President and CEO, is a service-disabled Air Force veteran. He started caregiving at eleven, ran a home care agency for over a decade, and has more than 10,000 hours of hands-on caregiving behind him. That is the qualification that matters most to the people we serve, and it is also the one the certification does not measure.

What we build and what it is for

One platform for recovery at home, with the hardware that goes with it. The reason it is at home is simple. Most of the work of recovery happens outside the clinic, and most people go home with a paper sheet of exercises and nobody watching.

• Four therapy modalities in one adaptive platform. Heroes.AI combines physical, occupational, speech and mental health therapy for the same person, in the same place, adapting as they change.
• Heroes.AI, live on the App Store since June 2026. That is a distribution milestone. It is not a regulatory clearance and we do not present it as one.
• Heroes Exoskeleton. Walking and balance. In research and prototyping, market entry planned 2027.
• HandVivante. Holds an FDA 510(k), manufactured by Robotimize. Prosperous is the US distributor and the transfer is in process. The clearance belongs to the device and its manufacturer, not to Prosperous.
• Heroes Care. In development, built for the caregiver rather than the patient.
• The software stack is fully owned. Hardware runs through a partnership and distribution agreement with Robotimize covering Singapore and Malaysia.
• FedRAMP 20x Low and SOC 2 are underway. Underway, not achieved. We will say achieved on the day it is true and not before.

The Veteran Stand Up Campaign

Sixty days on the road, away from family, visiting state run veterans homes across the Southwest. What we found was not a technology gap. It was veterans sitting in a wheelchair for eighteen hours a day, not because anyone decided they should, but because getting a person up and walking safely takes staff that these homes do not have.

Nine veterans walked for the first time in years on that tour. That is the whole argument. The equipment to do it already exists and is already inside VA facilities. What is missing is a way to put it in front of the people who need it, and a way to count what happens when you do.

The device is a Class I unweighted gait trainer, mechanically simple, American manufactured. With proper training it does not take a licensed therapist to run every session, which is the difference between a veteran walking twice a week and a veteran walking every day.

The report language below is what that tour turned into.

Enacted, both chambers

Report language accompanying the FY26 appropriations bills, as enacted, in two separate vehicles. Report language directs a department’s attention. It is not an award, not a contract, and not money appropriated to any company, including this one.

To be exact about it: this language exists and accompanies enacted bills. No award has been made to Prosperous on the strength of it, no contract follows from it, and nothing in it constitutes an endorsement by the Department of Veterans Affairs, HHS, or any other agency.

Advancing, not enacted

The same direction carried into a second year. The FY27 MilCon-VA bill passed the House 400 to 15 in May 2026 and is before the Senate. FY27 appropriations are not enacted. This is committee report language and we will describe it that way until it is signed.

Robotics Supply Chain Improvement Act

Introduced 6 August 2026 by Senators Mike Rounds and John Hickenlooper. It directs the Department of Commerce to collect data and develop standards for robotics manufacturing, and it names healthcare as one of the sectors where that work matters. Prosperous supported it on the record alongside Boston Dynamics.

Introduced is introduced. It is not law, and we will not describe it as law until a President signs it. Read the introduction release.

What the initiative would open up

If the mobility initiative is funded, the part we care most about is not the equipment. It is that a family two states away could know their father walked today, and that a neighbor could sign up to be the person who walks with him tomorrow.

We are building a companion tool at Prosperous Healthcare that shows the state run veterans homes in your state, what the initiative would cover, and where volunteers would be needed. Veterans are never named.

This tool is not built yet and the initiative is not funded. Both are described here as proposals so that nobody mistakes them for programs already running.

ROSE Guard

ROSE Guard is our dual-use concept, built on the same mechanical and software work as the rest of the line. It exists today as a working prototype. A pilot has been proposed and that is the whole of its status.

There is no award, no contract, no agreement, no endorsement and no program of record behind ROSE Guard. If you read otherwise anywhere, it did not come from us.

US Patent 10,966,897 B2, granted April 2021, automated walker assembly.

It is named ROSE, after Michael's mother. She was an Air Force nurse and then gave 33 years to the VA. Everything in this company that is any good came from watching someone do this work properly.

We work in South Dakota on purpose. The rural distances that make rehabilitation hard here are the same distances a lot of veterans live with everywhere else.
